フラン・カペラ
2010年にスウェーデンの工芸学校カペラゴーデンで共に過ごした、さいとうきいこさんから誘われて、カペラゴーデンに関わりのある北海道在住の何人かで展覧会をすることになりました。きいこさんの帯広のアトリエ（あいこくぽぽぽ図工室）で9/14から9/18までクラフトの展示をします。

Från Capella
I was invited by Kiiko Saito, who I spent time with at the Swedish craft school Capellagården in 2010, and we decided to hold an exhibition with some people living in Hokkaido who are involved with Capellagården. A craft exhibition will be held at Kiiko's Obihiro atelier (Aikoku Popopo Art Studio) from September 14th to September 18th.

研ぎ桶
数年ぶりに東京の下町にある刃物屋さん「井上刃物店」を訪ねた。店主の井上さんにご挨拶をして、これからはデザインのみならず品物をつくることもやっていきたいと伝えると、それなら研ぎ桶をつくってみたらとすすめられ、図面を渡された。

Sharpening Barrel
For the first time in a while, I visited Inoue Knife Shop, a cutlery shop in downtown Tokyo. I greeted the owner, Mr. Inoue, and told him that from now on, I would like to not only design but also craft products. He suggested I try making a sharpening barrel and gave me a drawing.

トドマツの家具 その2
トドマツを使ったもう一つの家具は、ビスとステンレス製ボルトを使って組み上げたガーデンテーブルです。東川町でガーデンファニチャーをつくるコロニーヘイブさんとのコラボレーション家具です。

Todomatsu (Sakhalin fir) furniture 2
Another piece of furniture that uses Sakhalin fir is a garden table assembled with screws and stainless steel bolts. This furniture is a collaboration with “Kolonihave” who makes garden furniture in Higashikawa.

トドマツの家具 その1
北海道で一番多く自生している木はおそらくトドマツの木ではないかと思います。そのトドマツの木を使って家具をつくれないかと考えて、二つの家具のプロトタイプをつくりました。ひとつは相欠きと呼ばれる継手を用いて組み立てたベッドフレームです。

Todomatsu (Sakhalin fir) furniture 1
I think that the most abundant tree in Hokkaido is probably the Todomatsu (Sakhalin fir) tree. I wondered if I could make furniture using this Sakhalin fir tree, so I made two prototypes of furniture. One is a bed frame that is assembled using a joint called “Aigaki”.

Meet up Funiture Asahikawa 2023
We will participate in Asahikawa Design Week and Meet Up Furniture again this year. The exhibition will be held from June 21st to 25th. Please come to Asahikawa and Higashikawa to see the furniture during the summer solstice, which is the most refreshing time of the year and the daytime is long.

スチール丸棒と無垢材を用いた、組み立て分解ができる、テーブル用の馬脚をつくりました。ダイニングテーブルやデスクの脚として、お好みの天板をのせてご使用いただけます。平らにして専用の箱に収納できますので、予備のテーブルの脚として必要な時だけ使用することも可能です。

Sawhorse legs that can be assembled and disassembled using steel round bars and solid wood. You can use it as a leg for a dining table or desk by placing your favorite top plate on it.

ウッドショックやコロナ禍、ウクライナ戦争の影響で木材の材料確保が困難な状況が慢性的に続いております。そのため、木材価格は高騰しており、今後もしばらくはさらに高騰することが予想されています。
このような状況から、この度やむなく4月１日よりacwアームチェアについて、価格の改定をさせていただくことになりましたことをお知らせいたします。

Notice of price revision
Due to the impact of the wood shock, the corona crisis, and the Ukrainian war, it is chronically difficult to secure wood materials. As a result, timber prices have skyrocketed and are expected to continue to rise for the foreseeable future.

ごあいさつ
今年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
昨年後半から家具の仕事だけでなく、建築設計の仕事も力を入れていきたいと考えていた矢先に、よい知らせが届きました。設計やデザインのサポートをさせていただいていた、宮城県松島町の工務店「いえのわ」さんとつくった（基本設計を担当した）住宅が第24回みやぎ木造住宅コンクーにて最優秀賞をとったそうです。
