昨年後半から家具の仕事だけでなく、建築設計の仕事も力を入れていきたいと考えていた矢先に、よい知らせが届きました。宮城県松島町の工務店「いえのわ」さんの、基本設計の提案とディテールデザインのサポートをさせていただいた住宅が、第24回みやぎ木造住宅コンクーにて最優秀賞をとったそうです。

南側の庭にむかって水平方向に広がりのある平家のような空間と、成人した子供たちのためのゲストルームを兼ねた二階の二つの個室を、玄関ホールの吹き抜けがつなぐ空間構成の家です。

「いえのわ」さんの家づくりに対する真摯な姿勢が評価されたのではないかと思います。おめでとうございます。（写真提供：いえのわ）

A happy New Year.
From the second half of last year, I was thinking that I would like to focus not only on furniture work, but also on architectural design work, when I received good news. I heard that the house for which I supported the basic design and the detail design of the construction company "Ienowa" in Matsushima Town, Miyagi Prefecture won the highest award in the 24th Miyagi Wooden House Concours. It is a house with a space configuration that connects two private rooms on the second floor, which double as guest rooms for grown-up children, with a one-storied house space that extends horizontally toward the garden on the south side, through the atrium of the entrance hall.

I believe that Ienowa's sincere attitude toward building a house was highly evaluated. Congratulations！
