植樹祭
コロナ禍でしばらく開催できなかった植樹祭に3年ぶりに参加しました。ミズナラの苗木4400本を東川町の森に植えました。旭川家具組合としては17回目の植樹祭でした。最初に植えたミズナラはうまく育っていれば、直径20cmくらいにはなっているはずです。家具の材料となるにはまだまだ時間がかかります。

I participated in a tree-planting festival that I couldn't hold for a while due to pandemic for the first time in three years. We planted 4,400 saplings of oak tree in the forest of Higashikawa Town. It was the 17th tree-planting festival for the Asahikawa Furniture Association. If the first planted oak tree grows well, it should be about 20 cm in diameter. It will take more time to become a material for furniture.
